Environmental policy
1. INTRODUCTION
The environmental policy of S.C. INOVUM S.R.L., hereinafter “the Policy”, reflects the fundamental values and principles that guide the organisation's work. It is a management tool that sets out the rules, responsibilities and commitments to be observed in all of the company's activities, both internally and in its relations with business partners.
As a company that is responsible towards its employees, the community and the environment, INOVUM commits to complying with all applicable legal requirements and relevant standards in the field of environmental protection.
Through this Policy, the company commits to the continuous improvement of its quality and environmental management systems and programmes, taking into account both its own activities and the impact generated by the entire supply chain — from purchasing to the delivery of products.
The Policy defines the company's strategic approach to the responsible management of the environmental impact of the activities of its employees, suppliers, collaborators and customers.
2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
INOVUM has adopted this Environmental Policy, applicable to the nature of its activities of distribution, logistics and sale of IT equipment, medical devices, technical and first-aid items, simulators of all kinds and various educational equipment, as well as domestic transport of goods.
The purpose of this policy is to create the framework needed to set and review general and specific environmental objectives, in accordance with the requirements of the SR EN ISO 14001:2015 Standard, implemented within the company.
The aim of the Environmental Management System implemented at INOVUM is the responsible use of natural, economic and human resources, by setting performance indicators and achieving a high level of environmental protection.
The Environmental Policy is an integral part of the Environmental Management System and is proof of management's commitment and full involvement in achieving the objectives set.
It applies to all operational structures, activities, employees, collaborators and parties acting on behalf of the company, as well as to the organisation's business partners.
3. OBJECTIVES OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
INOVUM carries out its activity with constant concern for sustainable development and environmental protection. This vision is supported by the fact that the company's administrator is an environmental engineer specialised in biotechnology, which ensures a deep understanding of the technical and ethical aspects of reducing waste and using resources efficiently.
Over the years, the company has shown responsible behaviour by choosing low-consumption and electric vehicles, helping to reduce its carbon footprint, even though the European Union is responsible for only about 7% of global CO₂ emissions.
The main objectives of the Environmental Policy are:
- Full compliance with applicable national and international legislation and with the requirements of the SR EN ISO 14001:2015 Standard.
- Efficient and responsible use of natural and energy resources and of raw materials.
- Continuous improvement of environmental performance through monitoring and periodic review.
- Raising employees' awareness of and responsibility for environmental protection.
- Separate collection of waste and its recovery through authorised economic operators.
- Preventing waste generation by optimising purchasing, logistics and delivery processes.
- Reusing packaging materials to extend their life and reduce the consumption of new materials by up to 98%.
- Selecting packaging materials from recycled sources and ensuring that more than 95% can be reused.
- Entering into partnerships with suppliers and customers who share the same principles of environmental protection.
- Implementing and maintaining an effective system for managing waste and hazardous substances to prevent accidental pollution.
The management of INOVUM S.R.L. undertakes to continuously monitor the achievement of these objectives through an ethical, transparent and participatory approach, communicating progress at all levels of the organisation.

and is communicated internally to all employees, as part of the general training and awareness programme on the environmental management system.
In the spirit of moral values and social responsibility, the employees and management of S.C. INOVUM S.R.L. regularly take part in activities and support programmes for non-governmental organisations that promote environmental protection and environmental education for future generations.
These actions are carried out out of conviction and modesty, without publicity or concern for image, in keeping with the Christian principle expressed in the Gospel according to Matthew 6:3–4:
“But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee.”
Chapter: General product delivery policy – part of the Environmental Policy of SC INOVUM SRL
1. Purpose and scope
This chapter sets out the principles and rules by which SC INOVUM SRL delivers products (including equipment) and, where applicable, puts them into service, in line with the company's Environmental Policy and its own guidelines for protecting nature.
2. Environmental principles applicable to delivery
To protect the environment throughout the logistics flow, SC INOVUM SRL undertakes to:
- use clean packaging, preferably recyclable or reusable, and minimise the mass and volume of packaging without compromising the protection of the products;
- prevent the generation of waste and, where possible, ensure the separate collection/return of packaging to authorised operators;
- optimise transport routes to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, and use means of transport that comply with the emission standards in force;
- avoid unnecessary handling and train staff and logistics partners in safe handling with minimal environmental impact;
- ensure the responsible management of auxiliary materials (protective materials, pallets, tape, film), including by reusing them whenever possible.
3. Packaging and labelling
- Products are packed and labelled so as to prevent any damage during handling, transport and storage.
- Packaging is sized taking into account the distance to the final destination and the possible lack of handling facilities at transit points.
- Where appropriate, the packaging will withstand accidental handling, extreme temperatures, salt, precipitation and temporary storage in open spaces.
4. Simple delivery vs. delivery with commissioning
- Simple delivery (Supply to the indicated place): Products are delivered to the Beneficiary's location with all the documents and accessories provided for. Quantitative and qualitative acceptance takes place on the basis of the delivery documents.
- Delivery with commissioning: In addition to delivery, SC INOVUM SRL provides installation, functional testing, basic training of the staff designated by the Beneficiary (if provided for) and handover in working order. The product is considered accepted when all contractual activities have been completed and its operation matches the parameters agreed in the technical specifications/tender book.
11. Legal compliance and continuous improvement
The delivery and commissioning processes comply with the applicable legislation on transport, environmental protection, and occupational health and safety. SC INOVUM SRL periodically reviews these procedures in order to continuously reduce the environmental footprint of its logistics activities.
