- Subject and validity of the warranty
This certificate applies to products sold by INOVUM SRL, identified by their trade name, device type, serial number (S/N) and the corresponding tax invoice. The warranty is granted exclusively for manufacturing and/or material defects found under conditions of use that follow the manufacturer's technical instructions. The warranty is valid only for products bought directly from INOVUM SRL or from authorised distributors and is not transferable. Service operations carried out during the warranty period will be recorded on separate documents. These documents become an integral part of the Warranty Certificate. - Categories of beneficiaries and warranty period
| Beneficiary category | Type of warranty | Warranty period | Legal basis |
| Natural persons (consumers) | Legal guarantee of conformity | 24 months | GEO 140/2021 |
| Legal persons (professionals) | Commercial warranty | 12 months | GO 21/1992, Art. 18 |
| Public institutions / government entities | Contractual warranty | 18 months | Civil Code, Art. 1200 |
For accumulators and rechargeable batteries, the warranty period is 6 months. The average service life of the products is 3–5 years under normal operating conditions.
The warranty period may differ from those described above if the contract and/or the offer provide otherwise.
- How the warranty is granted
A warranty claim requires the defective product to be presented with its identification elements intact (serial number, security seals intact), together with the original packaging, the related accessories and copies of the tax invoice and of the warranty certificate. The warranty is provided free of charge at INOVUM SRL's office or at authorised service centres. The products will be assessed and, as the case may be, repaired, replaced with equivalent products or refunded, at the seller's sole decision. The maximum time for resolution is 15 calendar days from the date the claim is registered. Time out of use due to faults covered by the warranty extends the warranty period.
- Obligations of the beneficiary
The buyer undertakes to use the equipment strictly within the fields and conditions of use specified in the instruction manual supplied with it, to keep the identification labels, not to undo the screws and fastening clips, and to keep, throughout the warranty period, the documentation and boxes received with the equipment.
To keep the warranty, the beneficiary must: present the tax invoice and the completed warranty certificate; store the product in a suitable environment, as described in the user manual; keep the seals and identification labels intact; use the product only for its intended purpose and according to the manufacturer's instructions; power electrical products only from a properly earthed mains supply; use only authorised consumables, parts and software; provide a clean, ventilated environment free of dust, fumes, moisture or vibration; present the product in its original packaging for transport; collect the repaired product within 30 calendar days of notification.
Failure to meet these obligations automatically voids the warranty.
- Exclusions from the warranty
The warranty does not cover, that is, the following are not subject to the warranty: products with physical defects such as structural modifications, impacts, cracks, chips, burnt or cracked components/parts, etc.; damaged, removed or altered warranty labels or seals; products used in unsuitable conditions (improper supply voltages, exposure to large variations in temperature and pressure, mechanical shocks, incorrect handling, dust, fumes or the action of chemical substances, etc.); incorrect settings and installations; faulty power supplies; sockets without earthing; ingress of liquids, metals or other substances inside the equipment; mechanical or plastic interference with the products; connecting or disconnecting certain components while the equipment is operating; equipment that has been worked on by unauthorised persons; negligence, improper handling, operating errors, fire with or without flame, explosion, lightning strike, falling objects, flooding from natural causes, water from pipes, seepage, groundwater, rainwater, steam, frost (below -20 degrees), overvoltages, inductions, indirect effects of lightning, voltage variations above the permitted value, natural disasters or other violent natural phenomena that can cause damage (landslides, storms, torrential rain, hail, avalanches).
The warranty is granted only to the buyer; INOVUM SRL is not liable where the equipment is resold or used by third parties. Damage to the seal on the product voids the warranty, as does loss of the warranty certificate.
- Limitation of liability
INOVUM SRL is not liable for loss of data, profit or production, or for other indirect damage, whatever the cause. The maximum obligation is limited to repairing or replacing the defective product. Products sent under warranty without justification will be returned at the customer's expense. If the warranty claim is unjustified (the equipment works), the claimant will pay the fees and costs of these unjustified interventions.
- Transport and storage
Products must be suitably packed when sent for service. Round-trip transport costs are borne by the beneficiary, except where the contract expressly provides otherwise. Products not collected within 60 days of notification that the repair is complete are considered abandoned and may be disposed of in accordance with Articles 941 and 945 of the Civil Code.
8. Final provisions
Where a product is replaced under warranty, the new product benefits from a new warranty period. If the product cannot be repaired because of improper use, the repair costs will be borne by the beneficiary. Post-warranty services are available for a fee. Any disputes will be settled amicably, in accordance with the Commercial Code and the Civil Code, through direct conciliation and, failing agreement, by the courts. The seller's obligations regarding delivery in terms of quality and quantity are considered fulfilled.
- Applicable legal provisions
The warranty conditions comply with GO 21/1992, Law 449/2003 and GO 174/2008. GEO 140/2021, GO 21/1992, Law 296/2004 – the Consumer Code, Civil Code Articles 941–945 and 1200.
